These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Straight Edge AI website, application, and subscription services (“Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or have legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction. You agree to provide accurate account information and keep it current.

2. Subscriptions and billing

Straight Edge GPT is offered on a monthly ($19.99/month) or yearly ($119.88/year, billed as $9.99/month equivalent) subscription basis. Billing is handled through PayPal. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel.

You can cancel any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you will not receive a refund for the partial period unless required by law.

3. Free trial and usage limits

Anonymous visitors may try the Service for up to three interactions per network/IP address. Abuse of the trial, including automated attempts to reset the limit, may result in permanent suspension without refund.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to generate, distribute, or facilitate: illegal content, harassment, malware, fraud, disinformation campaigns, or automated scraping of the site. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules.

5. AI output disclaimer

Straight Edge GPT is designed to be transparent about confidence, sources, and uncertainty. Despite that, AI-generated outputs may still contain errors or omissions. Do not rely on outputs as legal, medical, financial, or professional advice without independent verification.

6. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of content you input. You may use exported reasoning traces and answers for your own personal or commercial purposes subject to these Terms. We retain ownership of the Service, brand, and underlying technology.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Straight Edge GPT and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice.
